It is the first recommendation for general machining with the use of high toughness substrate and coating layer with improved welding/chipping resistance. Features include; stable tool life, longer tool life with a higher removal rate.
The VL chip breaker is for finishing. Offering stable chip control in high toughness materials; low carbon steel, pipe steel and steel plates. Improved chip control for facing, copy machining and better surface-finish.
